Half way through the season of 2005 I started road racing in the mro superteens championship and since then I have improved, ever since my first race at Snetterton, I qualified 32nd out of 40 riders and made top 25 finishes, I carried on with positions similar throughout the rest of the season and was just learning the basics of road racing and the tracks, so that I could compete competitively the following season. We didn’t bother tuning the engine or the suspension, just went out there purely to enjoy but at the same time be serious with my racing whilst learning the basics.
My first race at Snetterton went well it was a great experience and came home in 26th place. My second race went a little better and I had got my first taste of “scrapping” and finished 21st. My first race on Sunday was just the same after swapping positions many times with another rival rider and finishing a well deserved 25th place.
