I had testing here 2 weeks prior and was fairly happy with my performance considering it was just a track day and I was seen as a complete nuisance on the track as the track day merchants and average road riders were not at all happy with some of my firey fierce cornering maneuvers which got me into a spot of bother and a few close moments at times!

Free Practice one went very well and this time out there was no close moments and just clear track to enjoy and concentrate on. I got down to a 1.39.1 which placed me 4th by the end of practice which I was happy to see as I knew I still had more to come.

First quali and I only managed to go 0.1 quicker which was not enough to keep me up the front so I slipped back to 11th and had a few set up issues that I wanted changed ready for quali 2. Boy oh boy did they! the bike was perfect for me, I had fresh rubber on the tarmac and I was ready to go. I got a toe of another rider then nailed it as he let me passed and tried to get on my ass. It was an apsolute belter I done 3 consecutive quick laps an got down to a 1.37.3 just a few hundredths off  Pole. I came in for 5 mins had a drink and chilled out then went out to try again, the tyres wernt up to this harsh hounding by this point so I was happy to settle for 2nd on the grid, Pole  also being another Kawasaki.

Race came and my start was a bit manic with the front trying to lift sky high.  found myself 4th coming down craner curves and by the time I got to Foggys esses I was up to 3rd, we came out of there and 2nd almost highsided so I had my sites set for the lead just infront. Over the next few laps it was very tence and I made a few minor mistakes so the lead was now out of reach and I was also under constant pressure and attack from the 5 or 6 riders diving at me here there and everywhere from this point onwards so my main aim now was to fend them off and some how hold onto my 2nd place, podium and 20 precious points! I did so and also for the first time in ages made the race a kawasaki 1 2! the team was buzzing and so was I! Except I didnt manage to get the champaigne open! OOPS!

A big thanks to MSS Colchester Kawasaki, Linxcel and Symitry I.T North.
